Jon McNeill, CEO

Jon McNeill's experience as an insurance industry entrepreneur earned him a reputation as both an innovator and implementer. In 2002, Fast Company magazine named him one of the 10 most innovative CEOs in the country. McNeill co-founded Sterling Collision Centers in 1997 and grew the company from a single store to a 60-store national chain of auto body repair centers focused on turnaround time and customer service. Acquired by Allstate Insurance Company in May of 2001, Sterling employs over 1,200 and continues to add store locations. In 1993, McNeill founded First Notice Systems, Inc., a 24-hour property & casualty insurance claim services firm located in Boston. He served as CEO until 1997, when it was acquired by a public company, Concentra Managed Care. Prior to First Notice Systems, McNeill was a consultant with Bain & Company, an international strategic management consulting firm. He is a graduate of Northwestern University.

James Fini, President & Founder

Jim Fini is the President and Founder of Enservio. Jim's career as an executive and entrepreneur spans over 20 years of insurance industry expertise and technological innovation. He has developed several patents and leads research and development for Enservio. While leading the contents product category at Marshall & Swift/Boeckh, Jim grew businesses within, consulted to, and sold software products to the insurance industry. He has held senior positions with G.A. Sullivan and Burntsand, began his career at J.P. Morgan, and later honed his entrepreneurial skills as a founding team member of two insurance technology and service companies. Jim is a graduate of Syracuse University.

Tom Kirkpatrick, President, EnservioSelect

With over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Tom Kirkpatrick is widely known for consulting on more multi-million dollar personal property claims than anyone in the industry. Prior to founding EnservioSelect, he was a general adjuster/large loss specialist with several adjusting firms. His expertise in antiques, oriental rugs and fine arts has enabled him to create the exceptional team of specialists and experts of EnservioSelect. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts.

   

Robert Chase, SVP, Strategy & Business Development

Robert Chase has over 15 years of experience in consulting and software business development, sales and marketing strategy and execution, solution delivery, product development, and investment valuation. Chase joined Enservio from OnDemand Capital, a boutique strategy and operations consultancy he founded in 2003 to serve pre-funding start-up companies. Prior to that he held several senior sales and professional services positions for Information Management Associates and its acquirer, AIT USA, a Customer Relationship Management software and services provider. Chase participated in IMA's IPO in 1997, its sale to the British firm AIT in 2001, and the attraction of VC investment in AIT in 2002. His most recent role was SVP, Sales & Business Development covering North & South American, and Asian markets. At Monitor Company in the mid-1990s, Chase launched a technology strategy practice to serve emerging internet-based businesses. In this role, he and his team helped to create AT&T Solutions and several other lines of business for large corporations targeting the new internet economy. Prior to Monitor, Chase spent seven years building, managing, and selling solutions in Austin, TX and Hartford, CT for Andersen Consulting (Accenture). Chase earned his A.B. from Dartmouth College.

Chris Benecick, SVP, Sales

Chris Benecick has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on building dynamic sales teams and generating strong revenue growth. As a Top 50 executive at The Hertz Corporation, Benecick was responsible for managing national relationships within the replacement rental vehicle segment. As part of his role, he created supplier relationships with over 90% of the largest auto insurance companies in the United States and expanded Hertz’s penetration into the local car rental market. Prior to joining Hertz, Benecick held field claims, sales and marketing positions with Progressive Insurance and Property Damage Appraisers (PDA), Inc. He earned his BA from the University of New Hampshire.

Jay Guden, SVP, Operations

Jay Guden has extensive experience in building and scaling claims technology and service businesses. Guden joined Enservio after spending 13 years at Innovation First Notice. During his tenure he established and managed the firm’s three service centers and grew the business to service over 120 insurance carriers. Additionally, he led the design of the company’s claim handling applications, which allowed the firm to launch the ASP product line, providing system service offerings to clients who wanted to leverage the core application technology. Prior to joining First Notice, Guden was a consultant at Mercer Management, working on strategy, process management and market research engagements across financial services and manufacturing industries. He also worked in product management for Whirlpool Corporation focusing on competitive positioning and merchandising, as well as product development. Guden received his B.A. from Harvard and his M.B.A. from the Kenan-Flagler School at the University of North Carolina.

Neil Murphy, SVP Finance

Neil Murphy joined Enservio as Senior Vice President of finance in 2010 and brings 20 years of finance and accounting expertise in the technology sector. Murphy came to Enservio from Phase Forward, a leading provider of enterprise software and services for clinical trials and drug safety, where he was Vice President of Finance. He joined Phase Forward in 2007 and was integral to the successful acquisition of the company by Oracle in 2010. Before joining Phase Forward, Murphy held several senior finance roles, most notably at IBM/Rational Software where he was heavily involved in IBM's acquisition of Rational in 2003. Murphy holds a BS in Finance from Babson College.

 

Jay Straughan, VP, EnservioSelect

Jay’s career in the insurance industry spans 19 years. Before joining Enservio in 2007, he served Liberty Mutual’s field and home office claims organizations for 17 years. Jay is a four-time presenter at the Property Loss Research Bureau claims conference. He earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Samford University and an M.S. in Construction Management from Florida International University.

Chris Gervais, VP, Engineering

Chris’s career in technology includes leading and scaling software and solutions development in entrepreneurial and large enterprise settings. Chris joined Enservio after 8 years setting IT strategy and developing solutions architectures in healthcare. As the Director of Technology for Inflexxion, Inc., Chris lead the architecture and development of innovative Health 2.0 solutions. Prior to that, Chris spent 7 years setting IT strategy and solutions architecture for one of the country’s premier, technology-driven healthcare enterprises, Partners Healthcare, Inc. During his tenure at Partners, Chris oversaw the introduction of new technologies and lead a strategic SOA initiative to modernize critical application architectures. Prior to Partners, Chris was the Chief Technology Officer at VIS Corporation, designing and developing the company’s industry-leading SaaS e-learning platforms and lead the development of an innovative content and data management software solution. Chris earned his B.S. from Ithaca College.

 

Kathy Breslin, Director, Human Resources

Kathy drives Enservio’s strategic and operational human resources initiatives, including performance management, organizational effectiveness, talent acquisition, and compensation and benefit programs. With over a decade of HR success, Kathy has spent her career helping to develop and build high-performing organizations in technology companies. Prior to Enservio, Kathy was the Director of Human Resources for Maven Networks, and was an integral part of its acquisition by Yahoo! in 2008. Kathy also led the HR organization at XOsoft, which was acquired by CA in 2006, and was a key member of the Human Resources team at Precise Software, which was acquired by Veritas Software in 2003 and subsequently by Symantec in 2004. While at these organizations, Kathy built the leadership, employee, and infrastructure capabilities needed to scale and gain competitive advantage in the marketplace. Kathy holds a BS from the University of Massachusetts.
