Valuation for Carriers
To place value on contents with the highest levels of accuracy and efficiency, we developed the Enservio Valuation Platform (VP). The Enservio VP, a web-based application, is the market’s leading contents claim valuation and management solution.
Leveraging our TrueLKQ™ technology, the Enservio VP is able to determine objective, documented values for inventoried items. The platform’s match engine accesses real-time prices for more than a billion products from thousands of sources, learning from each match. All matches pass through an automated quality assurance module and are reviewed and approved by our trained and highly skilled desk appraisers. The Enservio VP further manages each step in the contents valuation workflow, including, for example, the calculation of taxes and depreciation, and the factoring in of sub-limits.
For unique, hard-to-value items like art and collectibles, we supplement the Enservio VP with our Select capabilities (www.enservioselect.com).
Service or SaaS
Carriers can assign claims to Enservio for processing using the Enservio VP as a service, or choose to deploy the application in-house via a Software-as-a-Service model. In such instances, carriers have the option of allowing their own teams or third-party staff to perform contents valuation work directly on the Enservio VP using standard browser technology. Deployment in-house also creates an opportunity for limited customization.
Contents Valuation Report
The output of the Enservio VP is the Contents Valuation Report (CVR), which provides unparalleled detail, accuracy and convenience, helping to resolve contents claims quickly. Delivered in easy-to-read Excel, Word, or PDF formats, the CVR presents the details of each line item, from item description and room location to coverage limit overages, depreciation and more. The file is readily modifiable to meet the needs of adjusters and can be customized in instances where the Enservio VP is deployed in-house.
Submit Claims by Any Method
Where carriers choose to use the Enservio VP as a service, claims can be submitted by virtually any method: mail, fax transmission, over the phone or by voice recording. CVRs are generally rendered in just a couple of days for smaller claims and in about a week for claims exceeding 500 lines.
